Brian Parry

Artistic Associate

Brian has been privileged to assay the roles of Cauchon in THE LARK and Henry II in THE LION IN WINTER with his new Promethean family.  While recently cleaning out the attic (long overdue! Sorry, Carol.), Brian discovered the certificate from his very first Jeff nomination.  He was not a winner that year, but Elaine Carlson was.  Many certificates later, he did receive a Jeff award for his performance in SHINING CITY with Redtwist Theatre, his other artistic home.  Elaine still has the lead, and he’s fine with that.  Really.  Other Redtwist shows include WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, RED, CLYBOURNE PARK, THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, A DELICATE BALANCE, THREE HOTELS, SHADOWLANDS and EQUUS, all Jeff Recommended, some even nominated.  Elsewhere, he’s been seen on the stages of Eclipse, Steep and Lifeline theatres as well as Remy Bumppo, The Goodman, Court, Northlight, Wisdom Bridge, and outdoors at Oak Park, Renaissance Repertory Company and Illinois Shakespeare Festival.  He’s had a recurring role in the web series THE DREAMERS, and you’ve probably heard his voice selling or explaining something vital.
