Steve Scott

Over a career that spans nearly fifty years, Steve Scott has directed more than 300 productions for local, national and international theaters, including Northlight, Red Orchid, Porchlight, Eclipse, Redtwist, Shattered Globe and Goodman, where he served as producer from 1986 to 2017 and is now a member of the Artistic Collective and the Board of Trustees. He serves on the faculty of the Theatre Conservatory of the College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and on the board of Season of Concern. In 2017 he won a special Jeff Award for his service to the Chicago theater industry, and in 2018 received the League of Chicago Theaters’ Lifetime Achievement Award. He is now the Artistic Director of the Dunes Summer Theatre in MIchiana Shores, Indiana.
