Tony Fiorentino

Interim President
Tony Fiorentino was delighted to join the board of Promethean Theatre in the summer of 2018, having previously worked with several of its ensemble members and associated artists. He has produced, directed, and/or premiered his plays at Stage 773, Prop Theatre, Athenaeum Theatre, and the Attic Playhouse. His plays “All My Love” (2009) and “The Feast” (2012) received nominations from the Joseph Jefferson Awards Committee for Best New Play, and his play “Lucid” (2010) received a Jeff Recommendation for Excellence. “The Feast” was also nominated as a finalist for the National New Play Network’s “Smith Prize”; a finalist for the Stanley Drama Award; and a recommendation for the American Theatre Critics Association’s annual ATCA/Steinberg New Play Award. Outside of Illinois, his plays have been produced at the American Theatre of Actors (New York, NY), the Northeast Theatre (Scranton, PA), and the Actors’ Theatre of Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Illinois.
