PTE is casting our second production the 2017/18 season, The Madwoman of Challiot.
We’re looking for the following characters:
Irma – Female/Non-Binary, 20’s. A smart and thoughtful ingenue, who makes the best of out her circumstances. We would love to see actresses who know ASL for this role.
Pierre – Male/Non-Binary, 20’s. A kind male ingenue, who’s in a little over his head. Funny and charming.
The Messenger – All ages, all genders. The ultimate survivor, a strong anti-capitalist. We are only considering members of the Deaf or hard of hearing community for this role.
Constance – Female/Non-Binary, 40’s – 50’s. One of the play’s “Madwomen.” She is fierce and is obsessed with her deceased dog.
The Broker/Gabrielle – Female/Non-Binary, 30’s. The Broker is intelligent and cut throat. Gabrielle is gentle and lost.
The Peddler – Non-Binary/Male, 20’s – 30’s. A Street smart survivor. Has seen it all.
We are especially looking for actors of color, GNC actors, and actors from the disabled community for this show.
Pay is $60 for the complete run.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals begin January 3rd.
The Madwoman of Challiot runs February 17th – March 17th.
