Nicole Hand

Literary Manager/Grant Writer/Ensemble Member

Nicole is a founding member of Promethean and has served as the company’s Literary Manager since 2014. For Promethean, Nicole directed Eurydice and Broken Hearts and Twisted Love for an Evening of Shakespeare, as well as assisting directing The Lark, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and BLISS (or Emily Post is Dead!). She has been seen onstage in A Winter’s Tale, Caucasian Chalk Circle and the Evening of Shakespeare series. Nicole graduated twice from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Theatre and an M.S.Ed in Education, and proudly teaches Theatre and English in the Chicago Public Schools system where she has also directed many educational productions.
